Using the Blocktrader widget on TT, you can submit the following orders:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Block<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EFP &#8211; Exchange for Physical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-callout component-callout callout-info\"><span class=\"badge \">Note<\/span>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NZX supports both 1-sided and 2-sided block orders. TT supports only 1-sided block orders for NZX as described on this page. 2-sided NZX block orders are not supported by TT currently.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-callout component-callout callout-info\"><span class=\"badge \">Note<\/span>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NZX supports block orders for outrights only. Block orders for multi-leg orders are not supported by either NZX or TT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blocktrader display for NZX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Blocktrader widget consists of the following components needed for submitting NZX block trades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/blk-nzx-display-scaled.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The components are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exchange<\/strong> \u2014 Lists the exchanges with OTC trade reporting supported on TT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trade Type<\/strong> \u2014 Lists the OTC trade types supported for the selected exchange. For NZX, this can be either \u201cBlock\u201d or \u201cEFP &#8211; Exchange for Physical\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Price <\/strong>\u2014 Sets the price for the Block or EFP trade. You can also use the up and down arrows to set the price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quantity<\/strong> \u2014 The total trade quantity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Price off tick<\/strong> \u2014 When checked, allows you to enter an off tick price per leg for instruments that support tick sizes smaller than what is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Instrument<\/strong> \u2014 Allows you to search for and select the instrument being traded. For NZX, this can be a futures instrument or a spread instrument defined by the exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#common-nzx-blocktrader-trade-fields\">NZX block trade fields<\/a> \u2014 Allows you to complete the fields required by the exchange. For NZX, the trade fields are the same for both trade types: Block and EFP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confirm Order and Submit<\/strong> \u2014 Allows you to confirm the order before submitting. When <strong>Confirm Order<\/strong> is checked, clicking <strong>Confirm<\/strong> will allow the user to check the details of the trade before clicking <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common NZX Blocktrader Trade Fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/blk-nzx-trade-fields.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following list shows the Blocktrader fields that are common when submitting block trades on NZX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol tagname=\"ol\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list wp-block-list tt-advanced-list\">\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Side<\/strong> \u2014 Select &#8220;Buyer&#8221; or &#8220;Seller&#8221; to set each side of the trade.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Customer Profile (optional)<\/strong> \u2014 A drop-down list of available order profiles. Only customers with order profiles defined in Setup appear in the <strong>Customer Profile<\/strong> list.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TT Account (optional)<\/strong> \u2014 Sets an account for the buyer or seller. This account will be used for the buyer or seller instead of the one set in the <strong>Account<\/strong> drop-down. All accounts assigned to the user are listed in the drop-down menu. It maps to <strong>client_info_s<\/strong> in the exchange API.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-callout component-callout callout-info\"><span class=\"badge \">Note<\/span>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"label-info label\" style=\"font-size: revert; letter-spacing: -0.1px;\">The exchange does not allow the * and % characters to be used as part of the account number.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Account Type<\/strong> \u2014 Sets the exchange account code for the trade. Valid values are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wholesale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Principal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market Maker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prescribed Person (Employee of participant trade)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>none<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Open\/Close<\/strong> \u2014 Sets whether the trade opens or closes a position.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Broker Reference (optional)<\/strong> \u2014 Sets the Client ID for the broker, defined by tag 448 (PartyID) when tag 452 (PartyRole) = 3.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li tagname=\"li\" class=\"wp-block-twentytwentyfive-child-tt-advanced-list-item tt-advanced-list-item\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Text TT (optional)<\/strong> &#8211; Adds a note that is not sent to the exchange but remains on the order in the TT system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submitting Trades on NZX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To submit a trade on NZX:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Blocktrader widget and select &#8220;NZX&#8221; from the <strong>Exchange<\/strong> drop-down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the trade type from the <strong>Trade Type<\/strong> drop-down.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Block<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EFP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the <strong>Instrument<\/strong> drop-down at the top of the widget to select the instrument.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Trade Type<\/strong> drop-down, set the <strong>Price<\/strong> and <strong>Quantity<\/strong> for the trade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the <a href=\"#common-nzx-blocktrader-trade-fields\">NZX block trade fields<\/a> in the center of the widget:<span style=\"letter-spacing: -0.1px;\">\t<\/span><ul><li>Select the <strong>Customer Profile<\/strong>. If no profile is selected, the default profile is used.<\/li><li>Select the <strong>TT Account<\/strong> for executing the trade.<\/li><li>Select the <strong>Counterparty<\/strong>. Preconfigured members of the exchange are listed in the drop-down.
