Using the Setup application, you can set up a connection to the CME ClearPort interface, and assign and manage broker users and counterparties who are registered with CME ClearPort to submit OTC transactions to the exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>As a company administrator, you can do the following in Setup to support CME ClearPort functionality for your company:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul>\n\t\n\n<li><a href=\"cme-adding-a-cme-connection.html\">Create a CME ClearPort connection and assign an account to the connection<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\t\n\t\n\n<li><a href=\"cme-adding-a-cme-account.html#sync\">Sync counterparty data with the account assigned to the CME ClearPort connection<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\n<li><a href=\"ac-managing-counterparties.html\">View and optionally add counterparties to your company and assign them to accounts<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3>ClearPort account management in Setup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Setup application automatically downloads the list of counterparties associated with a broker user ID registered at CME. When an account is assigned to an enabled (active) ClearPort connection with a valid broker user ID, the counterparties associated with the ID are automatically assigned to the account. The counterparties are displayed in the <b>Accounts<\/b> | <b>Exchanges<\/b> | <b>CME<\/b> tab for the selected account in Setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>When assigning an account to a CME ClearPort connection, consider the following:<\/p>\n\n\n    \n\n<ul>\n\t\n\n<li>If an account is shared, users can view the counterparties assigned to the parent account.<\/li>\n\n\n\t\n\t\n\n<li>Child accounts inherit counterparties from their parent account.
