Logon (35=A) Message (Alternative Method)<\/h2>\n\n

Instead of sending the Recovery Request\n (U2)<\/a> message, you can also perform a Recovery Request using the Logon\n (35=A) message.<\/a> You will similarly receive all valid messages within the specified\n timeframe.<\/p>\n\n

This method allows you to forgo sending the Recovery Request (35=U2) message; however, it is subject to your\n application\u2019s ability to incorporate the 916 and 917 (or 18002 for reconciliation) tags on the Logon (35=A) message.<\/p>\n\n

To perform a FIX Recovery using a Logon (35=A) message including StartDate and EndDate tags method:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Log on<\/li>\n
  2. Receive recovered messages<\/li>\n
  3. Get automatically logged out<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Note<\/span> Optionally, Reconciliation<\/a> can also\n\tbe used.<\/p>\n\n
