To add a connection for EBS Direct:<\/p>\n\n

    \n\t\t
  1. Click Connections<\/b> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n\t\t
  2. Click +New Connection<\/b>\n\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t
  3. Configure the settings in the General Settings<\/b> section:\n\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n <\/li>\n\n<\/ol>

      \n\t\t\t\t
    • Connection Enabled<\/b>: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.\n\t\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
    • Name<\/b>: This is a required<\/i> field for creating a connection.<\/li>\n\n\n
    • Exchange<\/b>: Select either EBSD_SW_NY<\/b>. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.\n\n <\/li>
    • Type<\/b>: Select Default<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n <\/ul>\n \n\n\t\t

    • Configure the settings in the Additional Settings<\/b> section.<\/p> \n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\n

      Configure the following settings per connection:<\/p>\n\n\n

      • Order Entry Primary IP<\/strong> \u2014 The primary IP of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Primary Port<\/strong> \u2014 The primary port of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Username<\/strong> \u2014 The username of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Password<\/strong> \u2014 The password of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Sender Comp ID<\/strong> \u2014 The sender comp ID of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Target Comp Id<\/strong> \u2014 The target comp ID of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Secondary IP<\/strong> \u2014 The secondary IP of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Order Entry Secondary Port<\/strong> \u2014 The secondary port of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Exchange IP<\/strong> \u2014 The primary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Port<\/strong> \u2014 The primary port of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Username<\/strong> \u2014 The username of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Password<\/strong> \u2014 The password of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Sender Comp ID<\/strong> \u2014 The sender comp ID of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Target Comp ID<\/strong> \u2014 The target comp ID of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Secondary IP<\/strong> \u2014 The secondary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n
      • Market Data Secondary Port<\/strong> \u2014 The secondary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.<\/li>\n\n\n
      • Max Order Rate (orders\/sec)<\/b> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.<\/li>\n\n

      • Contact Email<\/strong> \u2014 Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.<\/p><\/li>\n\n <\/ul>\n\n \n\n\n

      • Click Create<\/b>. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the Settings<\/b> tab.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\t\t

      • Click the Accounts<\/b> tab to assign an existing account to the connection. Multiple accounts can be added to a single connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

        Note<\/span> The connection will not become active until at least one account is assigned.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t
