The Heading will be set in that layout file-->\n\n  \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n            <h2 id=\"prerequisites\">Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n<p>Clients must contact the EPEX SPOT to obtain the order entry and market data credentials for\n    trading SPOT products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a EPEX SPOT connection:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n\t\t<li>Click <b>Connections<\/b> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Click <b>+New Connection<\/b>\n\t\t   <\/li>\n\t\t<li>Configure the settings in the <b>General Settings<\/b> section:\n\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ttus-epex-connect1.png\"><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n<\/ol><ul>\n\t\t\t\t<li><b>Connection Enabled<\/b>: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.\n\t\t\t    <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<li><b>Name<\/b>: This is a <i>required<\/i> field for creating a connection.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><b>Exchange<\/b>: Select <b>EPEX<\/b>. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.\n\n\n<\/li>\n<li>Use the default setting in the <b>Type<\/b> field.<\/li>\n\n\n          <\/ul>\n        \n\n\t\t<li><p>Configure the settings in the <b>Additional Settings<\/b> section.<\/p> \n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ttus-epex-connect2.png\"><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n<p>Configure the following EPEX SPOT settings per connection:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n\n    <li><b>User Name<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided username for connectivity.\n        This is required.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li><b>Password<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided password for connectivity.\n        This is required.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li><b>Client Cert<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided client certification for connectivity. This\n        is\n        required and provided by the exchange in a .pem file for both client and private.<\/li>\n\n    <li><b>Private Key<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided private key for connectivity. This is\n        required and provided by the exchange in a .pem file for both client and private.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li><b>Application ID<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided application ID for connectivity. This is\n        required.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li><b>TOTP Key<\/b> \u2014 Sets the Time-based one-time password (TOTP) for connectivity. This is\n        required.\n    <\/li>\n\n\n\n    <li><b>Max Order Rate<\/b> \u2014 Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection.\n        This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.<\/li>\n    <li><p><strong>Contact Email<\/strong> \u2014 Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.<\/p><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<li><p>Click <b>Create<\/b>. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the <b>Settings<\/b> tab.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\t\t<li><p>Click the <b>Accounts<\/b> tab to assign an existing account to the connection.
