To add a GFO-X connection:<\/p>\n\n

    \n\t\t
  1. Click Connections<\/b> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n\t\t
  2. Click +New Connection<\/b>\n\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t
  3. Configure the settings in the General Settings<\/b> section:\n\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n<\/ol>

      \n\t\t\t\t
    • Connection Enabled<\/b>: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.\n\t\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
    • Name<\/b>: This is a required<\/i> field for creating a connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\t
    • Exchange<\/b>: Select GFO-X<\/b>. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.\t\n\n <\/li>
    • Type<\/b>: Use the default setting.<\/li>\t\n\n\n <\/ul>\n \n\n\t\t

    • Configure the settings in the Additional Settings<\/b> section.<\/p> \n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\n

      <\/p> \n\n <\/li>\n\n

      Configure the following GFO-X settings per connection:<\/p>\n\n\n

        \n
      • Primary IP<\/strong> \u2014 (Optional) The exchange-provided IP Address for connecting your FIX session to the exchange.<\/li>\n \n
      • Primary Port<\/strong> \u2014 (Optional) The exchange-provided port for the FIX session connection. <\/li>\n \n
      • Secondary IP<\/strong> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the exchange-provided disaster recovery IP address for connecting the session during failover.<\/li>\n \n \n
      • Secondary Port<\/strong> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the exchange-provided disaster recovery port for connecting the session during failover.<\/li>\n \n \n
      • Sender Comp ID<\/b> \u2014 Identifies the name of your firm in FIX Tag 49 in all outbound messages sent via the connection. This is an exchange-provided credential that is required for connecting the session. This is a required setting.<\/li>\n\n
      • Sender Sub ID<\/b> \u2014 Assigned value used to identify specific message originator (e.g. desk, trader, etc.)<\/li>\n\n
      • Target Comp ID<\/b> \u2014 The ID of the firm receiving messages from the exchange host. This ID is generated and provided by the exchange based on your firm name. This field populates the value of Tag 56 (TargetCompID) in all inbound messages on this connection. This is required.<\/li>\n\n
      • On Behalf of Comp ID<\/b> \u2014 Set the up to 4 character EFID (Executing Firm ID) obtained from GFO-X. Required for order routing and clearing through the OCC. Sent to the exchange as Tag 115. This field is required.<\/li>\n\n
      • Username<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided session ID username for connecting to the exchange. Sent to the exchange as Tag 553. This is a required setting.<\/li>\n\n
      • Password<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided session ID password for connecting to the exchange. Sent to the exchange as Tag 554. This is a required setting.<\/li>\n\n\n
      • Max Order Rate (orders\/sec)<\/b> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.<\/li>\n\n

      • Contact Email<\/strong> \u2014 Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.<\/p><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\t\n\t \n\n\n

      • Click Create<\/b>. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the Settings<\/b> tab.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\t\t

      • Click the Accounts<\/b> tab to assign an existing account to the connection. Multiple accounts can be added to a single connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

        Note<\/span> The connection will not become active until at least one account is assigned.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t
