To add a WSE connection:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Click Connections<\/b> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n\t\t
  2. Click +New Connection<\/b>\n\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t
  3. Configure the settings in the General Settings<\/b> section:\n\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n

      \n\t\t\t\t
    • Connection Enabled<\/b>: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.\n\t\t\t <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
    • Name<\/b>: This is a required<\/i> field for creating a connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\t
    • Exchange<\/b>: Select WSE<\/b>. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.<\/li>\n\n\t
    • Type<\/b>: The only available value is Default<\/b>.\n\n\n <\/li><\/ul>\n \n\n\t\t

    • Configure the settings in the Additional Settings<\/b> section.<\/p> \n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\n

      <\/p> \n\n <\/li>\n\n

      Configure the following WSE settings per connection:<\/p>\n\n

        \n\n\t\t\t\t
      • Primary IP<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided IP address for connecting to the exchange. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t\t
      • Primary Port<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided port for connecting to the exchange. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t\t
      • Secondary IP<\/b> \u2014 Sets the backup IP address for connecting the session if the primary IP address is not reachable.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
      • Secondary Port<\/b> \u2014 Sets the backup port for connecting the session if the primary IP address is not reachable.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
      • Sender Comp ID<\/b> \u2014 Identifies the name of the firm that sends messages to the exchange. Enter the exchange-provided ID. This field populates the value of Tag 49 (SenderCompID) in all outbound messages for the connection. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t\t
      • Sender Location<\/b> \u2014 Identifies the Firm\u2019s Front-end server (Trading Application Issuer). Enter the exchange provided value. Sent to the exchange API as Tag 142 (SenderLocationID). This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t\t
      • Max Order Rate<\/b> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t

      • Contact Email<\/strong> \u2014 Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.<\/p><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n \n\n\n

      • Click Create<\/b>. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the Settings<\/b> tab.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\t\t

      • Click the Accounts<\/b> tab to assign an existing account to the connection. Multiple accounts can be added to a single connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

        Note<\/span> The connection will not become active until at least one account is assigned.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t
