The Heading will be set in that layout file-->\n\n  \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n            <p>To add an ABX connection:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n\t\t<li>Click <b>Connections<\/b> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Click <b>+New Connection<\/b>\n\t\t   <\/li>\n\t\t<li>Configure the settings in the <b>General Settings<\/b> section:\n\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ttus-abx-connect1.png\"><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n<\/ol><ul>\n\t\t\t\t<li><b>Connection Enabled<\/b>: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.\n\t\t\t    <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<li><b>Name<\/b>: This is a <i>required<\/i> field for creating a connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\t<li><b>Exchange<\/b>: Select <b>FIX Order Gateway<\/b>.<\/li>\n\n\t<li>In the <b>Type<\/b> field, select <b>Abaxx Exchange (ABX)<\/b>.<\/li>\n\n              <\/ul>\n        \n\n\t\t<li><p>Configure the settings in the <b>Additional Settings<\/b> section.<\/p> \n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\n    <p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/library-staging.tradingtechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ttus-abx-connect2.png\"><\/p> \n\n    <\/li>\n\n<p>Configure the following ABX settings per connection:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n\n\t<li><b>Primary IP<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided IP address for connecting to the exchange. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Primary Port<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided port for connecting to the exchange. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Backup IP<\/b> \u2014 <\/li> (Optional) Sets the backup IP address for connecting the session if the primary IP address is not reachable. \n\n\t<li><b>Backup Port<\/b> \u2014 <\/li> (Optional) Sets the backup port for connecting the session if the primary IP address is not reachable.\n\n\t<li><b>SenderCompID<\/b> \u2014 <\/li> Identifies the name of the firm that sends messages to the exchange. Enter the exchange-provided ID. This field populates the value of Tag 49 (SenderCompID) in all outbound messages for the connection. This is required.\n\n\t<li><b>Username<\/b> \u2014 Sets the exchange-provided User ID for the order session. This is a required field.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Target Comp ID<\/b> \u2014 The ID of the firm receiving messages from the exchange host. This ID is generated and provided by the exchange based on your firm name. This field populates the value of Tag 56 (TargetCompID) in all inbound messages on this connection. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Password<\/b> \u2014 The session password provided by the exchange. This is required.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Restrict To Markets<\/b> \u2014 Set as ABX.<\/li>\n\n\t<li><b>Max Order Rate<\/b> \u2014 (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.<\/li>\n\n\n\t<li><p><strong>Contact Email<\/strong> \u2014 Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.<\/p><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n \n\n\n<li><p>Click <b>Create<\/b>. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the <b>Settings<\/b> tab.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\t\t<li><p>Click the <b>Accounts<\/b> tab to assign an existing account to the connection. Multiple accounts can be added to a single connection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<p><span class=\"label-info label\">Note<\/span> The connection will not become active until at least one account is assigned.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Click <b>Save Changes<\/b>.<\/li>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To add an ABX connection: Click Connections in the left navigation panel.
