Allocation
Allocation Widget Display
The Allocation widget has three separate panes for selecting unreleased orders, displaying unreleased fills, and previewing allocations. It also includes buttons for accepting or canceling the allocations.
The widget consists of:
- Unreleased Orders pane — Displays locked bulk orders with unallocated fills selected in the Order Book or orders pane of the Orders and Fills widget. One or more bulk orders can be selected in the Unreleased Orders pane. As bulk orders are selected, the unreleased full or partial fills for these orders are displayed in the Unreleased Fills pane and the allocations and fill prices are displayed in the Preview pane. The Unreleased Orders pane includes:
- Order Book columns — Displays the order details. Columns include: B/S, OrdQty, Contract, Account, and Price. These are the same columns available in the Order Book or orders pane of the Orders and Fills widget.
- Unreleased Fills pane — Displays unreleased fills for the bulk orders selected in the Unreleased Orders pane. Fill details are shown based on the selected Fills view. The Unreleased Fills pane includes:
- Preview pane — Shows how fills and fill prices are allocated per child care order based on the selected bulk orders and allocation method. The Preview pane includes:
- Allocation method selector — Sets the allocation method. Select one of the following: "Avg Price" or "Fill Price". Note: Average prices are displayed in the Allocation widget with up to eight digits of precision as determined by the Average price rounding setting in Preferences | General.
- Preview columns — Displays the fill and price details. These are the same columns available in the Fills widget.
- Copy button — Allows you to copy the allocated fills and paste them into another application.
- Release button — Accepts the allocation preview and releases the fills and prices back to the customers who originated the care orders. The release action unlocks the bulk order in the Order Book or orders pane. The Cancel button cancels the preview and allocation.
